Unlike other sites, we have an extensive (and somewhat bewildering) array of mounting configurations and hardware available. Call Jim if you would like some informal help with your setup. We will build a custom install configuration if you like.

To simplify, we offer some recommended mounting hardware in kit form. Here is what you will need:

• Choose a tire swing.
• Choose a chain kit according to the mounting configuration, anywhere from one to four chains may be used to create different swinging and rocking action combined with an isolated tire swivel or with a regular pair of swing hangers.
• Choose a hanger style based on the ride action configuration to complete your install.

Sample configurations:

Swivel hanger - For a 360 degree swinging and spinning ride, any number of chains may be suspended from a single eye swivel. We also have swivels with three eyes for three chain applications. This setup requires an isolated 360 degree space to allow for swinging in all directions.

Swing hangers - You can put up a tire swing using a pair of swing hangers, inline with other swings on your cross beam. This setup requires a two or four chain configuration.

Saucer style - Tire is suspended horizontally on two to four chains, depending on the level of stability desired. Our manufactured Residential (4 chain) and Rotomolded (3 chain) tires are designed this way. Two chains allow a rocking motion which can be mounted on either a swivel or inline swing hangers.

Hoop style - Tire is suspended vertically on one or two chains. Our manufactured Vinyl Hoop (2 chain) tire is designed for this application. Use two chains for an inline swing.

Real used tires - Our TIRE EYE BOLT can be ordered separately to convert a real tire to any configuration you like. Our NASCAR tire is a real used racing tire right off the track.
